After years of waiting, it’s finally here. The new Legend of Zelda game is called Breath of the Wild, and it looks absolutely incredible. I’m watching the E3 Treehouse presentation live, and writing down some of my thoughts here during the downtime between new segments, for whoever’s interested. This is going to be a lot of bullet points, so bear with me! Continue reading The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Reveal Thoughts
I remember when I heard that Captain America 3 was going to be an adaption of the Civil War storyline, I immediately rushed out and got a copy of the comic book from my local library. I loved it. It was fantastically written, interesting, and seriously morally ambiguous. The whole story was constructed to steer you through the different sides, but there was never a right decision. It was brilliant, so after reading it, I was naturally excited to see the movie. How’d it turn out? Continue reading “Whose Side Are You On?” (Captain America: Civil War)
Last year, Marvel Comic’s deal with Netflix yielded one of the best comic book adaptions in years, Daredevil, a thirteen episode series about the origins and life of the Marvel comics character Daredevil (go figure). After watching the first season in literally one day, I couldn’t wait for the second season to hit Netflix. Well, now it’s here, and it’s definitely making itself noticed. I wrote a whole article on that last year sometime, and now I finally got the chance to finish the whole season. How did I like it? Well, let’s just say my worst fears were confirmed. Continue reading “Leviathan Faints” (SyFy’s The Expanse: Season 1)

Okay, here it is. I’ve been waiting for this movie for three years, and being teased endlessly in a slow barrage of set photos, fan trailers, and ten second teasers was getting just too much to take. When I saw the first official trailer, I had to watch it again just to make sure that I wasn’t dreaming. All of the other trailers just went uphill from there. So, I went to see it on Friday with a whole bunch of friends from school, on it’s first full day. How did I like it? Oh, God. Continue reading “Star Wars Awakens” (Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens)
