It’s the big day! John and Mary are getting married! (Disclaimer: the entire episode takes place at the wedding.) Here’s the best thing, though, Sherlock is the best man! He has a great speech planned, too, one that’ll take apparently an hour and a half to give.
It’s John and Mary’s wedding day, and Sherlock has a speech planned, on account of him being John’s best man. The speech will take up most of the time, with Sherlock telling funny yet touching stories about John, encompassed in new and intricate mysteries, and Sherlock’s violin playing.
– Sherlock Holmes, after drinking tea that he dropped an eyeball into.
The Sign of Three was a pretty great addition to Sherlock, and there were definitely a lot of good laughs in the episode. I also liked how the two or three completely different mysteries in the episode all seemed to converge together at the end of the episode, and it really gave the story a completed, cohesive feel. 8 out of 10.
